On November 9, 2022, a delegation led by Zhang Zhiyong, Executive Vice President of China Foundry Association, Liu Shusheng, Vice Minister of Industry Development Department, and Zhao Gang, Director of Industry Development Department, visited Weishanzhuang Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Town. They had in-depth exchanges on issues such as future cooperation between the two sides with Wei Jingfen, Director of the Management Committee of our company, Vice Chairman of China Security, Liu Weihua, Vice Chairman, and Zheng Fei, Deputy Director of Postdoctoral Workstation, and Li Hongye, Deputy Mayor of Weishanzhuang, Daxing District Wang Tao, Director of the Economic Development Office, met to discuss the cooperation model between the association and the government, with the aim of working together to promote industry development.

Vice President Zhang Zhiyong gave a detailed introduction to the current situation of the casting industry and the history, scale, and recent situation of the China Foundry Association. The China Foundry Association (hereinafter referred to as the "China Foundry Association") was established in 1986. It is a national first-class casting industry organization voluntarily formed by national casting enterprises, local social organizations, and enterprises related to casting business, research and design institutes, colleges and universities, etc. It is registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs and is under the jurisdiction of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. In 2013, it was evaluated as a "5A" level national industry association by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, The "China International Foundry Expo" hosted by the association has been continuously selected as a brand exhibition supported by the Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Government. The China Foundry Association has 53 branches, 2 domestic offices, and 4 overseas liaison offices. It currently has over 150 full-time and part-time staff, with a total of over 8000 member units, covering about 90% of the Chinese foundry industry. The purpose of the association is to fully leverage the role of a bridge and link between the government and enterprises, and enhance the construction of service capabilities for members, industries, governments, and society; Actively reflecting the opinions, wishes, and demands of members, safeguarding the overall interests of the industry and the legitimate rights and interests of members; Implement the development concept of "innovation, coordination, green, openness, and sharing", accelerate the filling of industry development shortcomings, enhance the basic manufacturing and collaborative innovation capabilities of casting, improve the level of industrial chain collaboration, deepen industrial structure adjustment, transform industry development methods, accelerate the development of the industry towards green and intelligent direction, and make contributions to achieving high-quality and sustainable development of the casting industry.

Both parties attended the meeting watched the promotional video of the industrial layout of Daxing District and Weishanzhuang. President Wei, the director of the management committee of our company, focused on introducing the construction background, industrial planning, management and operation scheme of the post doctoral town and the service mode of the post doctoral high-end talents to the leaders of China Casting Association. In June of this year, leaders of the China Casting Association visited our Zhihui Vermicular Iron Company. Chairman Zhang fully affirmed the company's transformation and upgrading work, automation equipment, and intelligent transformation achievements, analyzed and elaborated on the difficulties and problems faced by the entire industry at this stage, and pointed out that Zhihui Vermicular Iron Company, as the drafting of two national standards, "Metallographic Inspection of Vermicular Iron" and "Vermicular Iron Parts" Establishing a sole participating unit requires firm confidence and overcoming difficulties at present. Under the leadership of governments at all levels and local associations, actively explore the market, increase technological innovation efforts, and strive to create high-end and green industrial clusters. In the future, optimizing and upgrading the structure, taking the path of specialization, precision, new environmental protection and energy conservation, is the necessary path for the scientific development of Zhihui Vermilion and even most casting enterprises, and it is also the trend of the times!

In September, at the 20th China International Foundry Expo held in Shanghai, Shandong Zhihui Vermicular Graphite New Material Technology Co., Ltd. won the "High Quality Casting Gold Award" for the high-performance vermicular graphite cast iron LWMD 1040 wheel mounted railway freight car brake disc. At the same time, Zhihui Vermilion Ink Company was awarded the only strategic cooperation signing enterprise of China Casting Association at the 20th China International Casting Expo. According to the strategic agreement, China Casting Association will provide precise guidance in technology, training, talent cultivation, product research and development, and industrial upgrading.

This year is a key year for the implementation of the 14th Five Year Plan in the casting industry.
